Laying an Augin Floor requires no specialized equipment or training for installation.
It is easily accomplished by the do-it-yourself homeowner.
·The initial assembly and subsequent changes of this free-floating floor is fast and
easy. No adhesive is used to lay the tile frames. The top surfaces, PVC natural
wood and cork, or synthetic turf adhere to the frames using an integral tacky surface.
Once the base frames are laid they could remain in place indefinitely, allowing easy
changes of the inset tiles whenever you wish.
·The patented Augin flooring system is all-in-one, with each tile being constructed of
a sound dampening and cushioning underlayment, a tough but easy on the feet flexible
frame, a tacky surface protected by a removable activation sheet, and the top removable
tile. The frames could be laid as a permanent floor with changeable top surfaces, or the
floor could be disassembled completely and moved within minutes to a new location or to
storage.
·The AuginFlor tiles are light weight, making transportation to the installation site easy
and adding very little to structural load.
·Because the Augin tiles are modular and free-floating the simple removal of individual tiles
allow fast and easy access for electrical and plumbing work.
·The AuginFlor integral underlayment and honeycomb frame construction reduces sound and
increases foot comfort, resulting in a worker-friendly environment.
The polymers used in the manufacture of Augin floor tiles are fire retardant, nontoxic, long
wearing, and chemically resistant for typical home and office use.
